The Miss Forney Scholarship Pageant 2026 is where confidence meets opportunity. Every year, young women from Forney and surrounding communities take the stage to share their talents, passions, and advocacies, and walk away with more than a crown. They gain scholarships, workshops, and community support that last a lifetime.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The Miss Forney Scholarship Pageant is open to young women who demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and a desire to make a positive impact. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Residency: Must reside in Forney, Texas or attend a Forney ISD high school.
  • Grade Level: Must currently be in 11th grade at the time of application.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old and no older than 18 years old by the date of the pageant.
  • Academic Standing: Must be in good academic standing and actively enrolled in school.
  • Community Involvement: Should demonstrate involvement in community service, school activities, or leadership programs.
  • Character and Conduct: Must uphold values of integrity, respect, and leadership—serving as a positive role model for peers and the Forney community.
  • Availability: Must be available to attend rehearsals, events, and appearances leading up to and following the pageant, including community activities with Threads for Change and the Forney Chamber of Commerce.

The Miss Forney Scholarship Pageant, an initiative of Threads for Change in partnership with Forney ISD and the City of Forney, is a transformative event celebrating leadership, excellence, and community engagement. Guided by the tagline “Values, Excellence, Community,” the pageant provides 11th-grade students with a platform to showcase their talents, leadership skills, and dedication to making a difference, while fostering character, achievement, and civic pride to inspire future leaders and positive change.
