Meet the New Miss Forney Scholarship Pageant Winner: Aria Price

We’re thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s Miss Forney Scholarship Pageant — Aria Price, a bright, bold, and passionate 17-year-old junior from Forney High School!

Aria captivated the judges not just with her poise and talent, but with the heart she brings to everything she does.

A proud Forney resident of nearly 12 years, Aria says what she loves most about her city is the strong sense of community.

“You always know your neighbors are cheering for you,” she shared. “I never fail to run into someone I know at Kroger!”

When asked who inspires her, Aria didn’t hesitate: her mom.

“She’s strong, fearless, and doesn’t just talk about change—she runs for it. Literally! Watching her run for school board showed me what it means to lead with heart.”

On tough days, Aria says her drive comes from knowing she has a bigger purpose. Her support system, her goals, and most of all—her faith and love for music—keep her grounded and motivated.

“Music gets me through a lot... And let me not forget God, because He picks me up every day.”

Aria’s passion doesn’t stop there. She’s a long-time advocate for youth voter participation, and she dreams of attending UNC Greensboro to pursue her goal of becoming a Broadway actress.

Shoutout to Our Amazing Runners-Up

 1st Runner-Up: Nila Hooks

A 16-year-old junior at Forney High School, Nila brought not only grace and confidence to the stage, but a deeply personal message of faith and resilience. Her advocacy centers on mental health awareness, especially for young people who may be silently struggling.

“I would use the honor of having this platform to first demonstrate and show the love of God—not just by words, but by the actions I display. I want to be an advocate for those silently battling low self-esteem and mental health challenges, because I’ve been there too.”

Her vulnerability and courage resonated powerfully with the audience, and her presence in the pageant was a reminder of the strength that comes from sharing your truth.
