The Miss Dallas Scholarship Pageant is a transformative community initiative by Threads for Change, in partnership with Dallas ISD and Don Morphy Clothiers. This is a bold, inclusive program designed as a clear shift away from traditional pageants. It is not a beauty pageant—there are no beauty standards, no appearance scoring, no “pageant perfection.” Instead, Miss Dallas highlights talent, leadership, character, community involvement, and purpose. This platform gives 11th-grade students the opportunity to grow, lead, and advocate for causes that matter to them and to Dallas.

Eligibility Requirements

The Miss Dallas Scholarship Pageant is open to students who demonstrate leadership, a commitment to community, and a desire to make a positive impact. Applicants must meet the following:

  • Residency / School: Must attend a high school within Dallas ISD.
  • Grade Level: Must be in 11th grade at the time of application.
  • Age: Between 16 and 18 years old by the date of the pageant.
  • Academic Standing: Must be enrolled and in good academic standing.
  • Community Involvement: Should show involvement in service, school activities, or leadership programs.
  • Character: Must uphold integrity, respect, and strong leadership values.
  • Availability: Must be available for rehearsals, workshops, appearances, and community events leading up to and following the pageant.
