Threads for Change is thrilled to announce its inaugural Annual Dress for Success Conference, an exciting event that brings together the best of our year-long Dress-Up Discovery Workshops. Tentatively set for August 16, 2025 (with the date subject to change), this event will host 500-700 young participants for a day of inspiration, creativity, and celebration. This unique conference will empower youth to embrace fashion as a means of building confidence and exploring their entrepreneurial potential.

Event Highlights:

• Inspirational Speakers: Hear from 5 young entrepreneurs who started their own businesses and will share their inspiring stories of success. In addition, 3 accomplished professionals will offer guidance on leadership, financial literacy, career growth, and personal development.
• Runway Show: A fun and empowering fashion show where participants get the chance to walk the runway and showcase their personal style, celebrating the progress they've made throughout the workshops.
• Interactive Activities: Attendees will enjoy a range of engaging fashion-themed activities and mini-games designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression. Stay tuned for more details on the specific activities planned for the event!

About the Monthly Workshops: 

Our Dress-Up Discovery Monthly Workshops educate and inspire teenagers to use fashion as a tool for self-expression and confidence. Through hands-on learning and guidance from speakers, these workshops teach essential styling techniques and encourage creativity. Participants hear from a mix of speakers: Dacyn Mofor, Fashion Director at Don Morphy, shares practical styling tips, while young entrepreneurs and seasoned professionals offer career advice and life skills.

The annual conference will take these workshops to the next level, offering participants a chance to showcase everything they've learned throughout the year, including fashion mastery, networking, and entrepreneurship.
