Threads for Change, in partnership with Dallas ISD, is excited to present the Dress for Success Workshop, an initiative aimed at empowering young students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the professional world.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between fashion and education, using the transformative power of clothing, confidence, and career readiness skills to open doors to life-changing opportunities. This workshop is designed to provide 10th and 11th grade students with practical tools for stepping into their futures with confidence, professionalism, and poise.

Led by Daniel Mofor, founder of Don Morphy and Threads for Change, and Sonya Mofor, CEO of Threads for Change, the workshop will focus on key areas such as personal presentation, professional attire, and effective communication. By learning how to dress for success and communicate confidently, students will be better prepared for interviews, internships, and future career opportunities.

Event Highlights:

  • Presentation by Daniel and Sonya Mofor: Discover the powerful connection between self-presentation and career success.
  • Professional Dress Tips: Gain insights into how to dress in a way that’s both professional and personal, and learn the importance of making a lasting impression.
  • Confidence & Communication: Develop essential skills for effective communication and building professional relationships.

Our Objective:
At Threads for Change, we are committed to providing students with not just the tools to look their best but also the skills to communicate their worth effectively. This workshop will empower students to feel confident in their professional journey, giving them the foundation they need to pursue their goals with purpose and self-assurance.
